Pretty nails are loved ♥

A fun design for a day out with the girls!

When i see pink, i think of flowers :)

So ladies...
In the midst of studying for my FINAL paper (wish me luck!), i thought maybe i should sit back relax, have some nice food and paint my nails! It is indeed a fabulous way to relax your mind. Try it.

Before i start, i don't really use products like OPI or China Glaze as its quite pricey to collect. Plus i'm doing this merely as a hobby, so i use products from The Face Shop. Its cheap and works good enough. Especially since I use them quite frequently, i don't wanna waste so much money for now. I have a few OPI nail polish but that too were gifts! lol.

So anyway, i thought about doing designs which are more hands on with more painting involved and so i came up with the two designs above. I just had to do them, try out my brushes, of which photos of them are uploaded below. Yeah, so i was browsing through pictures of the different flower motives for my upcoming photoshoot, if you wanna know more, i've linked it to the page on facebook, i thought of pink. Pink and flowers, when i see pink i think of flowers. Basically my flowers were hand painted. I did not use any nail art stamp, i used only my nail art brushes, a dotting tool, some nail polish, orange stick and some nail jewels i bought from ebay. The colours i used were the RD302, PP402 and the BK901. Base coat 02 and top coat 03. All from The Face Shop.

As for the design on the left, its more abstract, fun and lively for a day out with the girls. I personally love abstract designs better than floral because it appears more funky and fresh and i can go as wild as i want with the designs. Not saying i don't love pink, flowers and bling. I do, don't get me wrong. But its just that abstract designs are more refreshing. For this design, i used just some nail polish and my angled brush. Colours i used were RD301, BK901 and WH002. Base coat 02 and top coat 03. All from The Face Shop.

I will probably do up some videos on nail art when i have the time, What do you say? :)
